Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of innovative display solutions, for an Internal Account Manager to join their team based in Corby.

You will manage a portfolio of up to 150 customer accounts, build relationships, identify new sales opportunities and drive revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling, while coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, internal sales, account management or customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication skills with customers over the phone.
• Proactive and commercially focused with ability to meet sales targets.
• Ability to build rapport, develop long-term relationships and grow accounts.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Good problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Understanding of sales performance, pricing and commercial trends.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and be their main point of contact for sales and support.
• Develop existing accounts and reactivate lapsed customers to maximise revenue.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products and services.
• Prepare, manage and convert customer quotations into sales.
• Make proactive outbound calls to engage customers and generate new business opportunities.
• Promote marketing campaigns, product launches, events and digital sales tools.
• Encourage customers to use the company's e-commerce platform and online resources.
• Arrange customer visits for Key Account Managers and showrooms/showroom visits.
• Work with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey and keep CRM up to date.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines and progress against targets.
• Take ownership of customer issues and resolve queries efficiently.
