Qualifications

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and selling skills.
  • Very strong communication skills and a high standard of written and spoken English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Smart and professional appearance.
  • Approachable, positive, and proactive manner.
  • Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of Delphi/Salesforce systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all groups booking requests with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
  • Input and update all groups reservations accurately.
  • Promote hotel services and offer tailored upgrades to enhance group stays.
  • Provide accurate information about accommodation, services, and local attractions.
  • Work closely with front desk and housekeeping to meet special requirements.
  • Address group concerns or special requests in a timely manner.
  • Utilize hotel reservation systems to monitor and confirm bookings.
  • Maintain detailed records of group organizers and preferences.
  • Handle guest data with confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the hotel.

A bit about what you will do...
  • Guest Interaction: Handle all groups booking requests with professionalism, friendliness, and exceptional customer service.
  • Booking Management: Accurately input and update all groups reservations, ensuring all details such as room preferences, special requests, and payment information are correctly processed.
  • Up-selling & Promotions: Promote hotel services, packages, and amenities, offer tailored upgrades and experiences to enhance the group stays and drive revenue.
  • Information & Assistance: Provide group organizers with accurate information about the hotel’s accommodation, services, amenities, and local attractions, ensuring they feel well-informed and cared for.
  • Availability & Coordination: Work closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure room availability, special requirements, and VIP requests are met.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Address group concerns or special requests before, during, and after their stay, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reservation Systems: Utilise hotel reservation systems and tools to monitor, adjust, and confirm bookings, ensuring accuracy and efficient the groups check-in and check-out processes.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of group organizers and agencies preferences, reservations, and communication history to offer a personalised experience during future stays.
  • Confidentiality & Accuracy: Handle guest data and personal information with the highest level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as part of the hotel team, contributing to the smooth operation of the hotel and the achievement of guest satisfaction and business goals.
