Job summary

A consulting firm is seeking an Interim Group Reporting Manager in West London. Altum Consulting are partnering with a well-established construction business based in West London to appoint an Interim Group Reporting Manager. This role will play a critical part in overseeing group reporting, managing the external audit process, and delivering high-quality financial information to senior stakeholders and the Board.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical reporting and consolidation experience and be comfortable operating in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the group month-end close and consolidation process
  • Prepare group management accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery
  • Own the external audit process, acting as the key point of contact for auditors and coordinating information across the group
  • Prepare Board packs, including clear financial commentary and analysis for senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls
  • Review and improve group reporting processes and controls where appropriate
  • Work closely with finance teams across group entities to ensure consistent reporting
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (Big4/top tier firm)
  • Proven experience in a Group Reporting / Consolidations role
  • Strong technical accounting and reporting background
  • Demonstrable experience managing audits and dealing with external auditors
  • Experience preparing Board-level reporting and packs
  • Hands-on, delivery-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator able to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Available for an immediate start
  • Willing to work 4 days per week on-site in West London
