The Role

We’re seeking a passionate and dynamic Group Fitness Coordinator to lead group fitness instruction and ensure a safe, effective, and motivating experience for all members. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating the group fitness schedule, delivering engaging exercise classes, and promoting the club’s fitness and wellbeing programmes to both current and prospective members.

In this role, you will lead group classes, demonstrating exercises safely and effectively. You will manage studio equipment and inventory, reporting maintenance needs to the Maintenance Manager. Keeping up-to-date with fitness trends, you will suggest improvements to services and help develop special fitness events for members. You will inspire and motivate members, encouraging them to reach their fitness goals and make positive lifestyle changes. Working closely with the Fitness & Wellbeing Manager, you will monitor studio usage and develop strategies to attract and retain members. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the studio will also be a key responsibility.

Experience & Skills Required
  • Professional work experience in fitness or related field, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Exercise to Music qualification or equivalent.
  • CPR, First Aid, or AED certified.
