This is a full-time, on-site role for an Group Finance Assistant, based in the Wrexham. The position supports the finance function across reporting, analysis, and day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial information.

Group Finance Assistant Responsibilities
  • Posting daily bank receipts and ensuring accurate allocation of income
  • Performing regular bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
  • Preparing and processing supplier and ad-hoc payments
  • Managing company vehicle-related payments, including leases, fuel cards, and associated costs
  • Processing and reconciling employee expenses in line with company policy
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts and financial statement preparation
  • Supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, and journal postings
  • Maintaining accurate financial records within accounting systems
  • Assisting with audit preparation and responding to audit queries
  • Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and support to the wider finance team
Group Finance Assistant Experience Required
