Job summary

A rapidly expanding food retail company in Greater London is looking for a Group Accountant to oversee financial reporting and cash management processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group Reporting Manager and contribute to monthly consolidation, IFRS compliance, and operational improvements. The role requires a qualified accountant with at least three years of relevant experience, ideally in FMCG or Retail, proficient in technical accounting and advanced Excel skills. Qualifications

• 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in financial consolidation and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly consolidation and intercompany reconciliation.
• Manage the Group’s IFRS 16 calculations and journal entries.
• Support cash management initiatives and optimize liquidity.
• Produce consolidated statutory accounts for audit.

Skills

Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA)

Strong technical accounting knowledge

Advanced Excel skills
