Group Accountant
Salary: £60,000 to £70,000
Location: Hybrid, Central London

A high growth, consumer loved brand is looking for a Group Accountant to join its fast scaling finance team. You will play a key role in strengthening the group's financial reporting, improving processes, and supporting strategic decision making as the company continues its rapid expansion.
What You Will Do:
- Work closely with the Group Reporting Manager on monthly consolidation and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely group reporting.
- Own monthly group balance sheet analyses and reconciliations, including key working capital and balance sheet KPIs.
- Take responsibility for the Group's IFRS 16 calculations and related journal entries.
- Support cash management initiatives including liquidity optimisation and cash movements across entities.
- Assist with consolidated statutory accounts and key deliverables for the year end group audit.
- Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline financial processes, driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting deadlines.
- Take a hands on, proactive approach to solving problems and supporting wider finance initiatives.
- Support a variety of ad hoc projects as the business continues to scale.
What You Bring:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA) with at least 3 years post qualification experience.
- Experience in FMCG or Retail is beneficial.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with consolidation experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong organisational ability.
- Independent, proactive mindset with a solutions focused approach.
- Enthusiastic about improving processes and supporting a growing business.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years post qualification experience.
Education:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA).
