A local government authority in Moortown is seeking an enthusiastic Grounds Maintenance team member to join their team. The role involves working across various locations, providing services such as grass cutting and hedge maintenance. Applicants should have substantial experience in Grounds Maintenance and hold relevant certifications. The position offers a salary range of £24,817 - £30,372 per annum, along with excellent benefits including leave, pension scheme, and employee assistance programs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Grounds Maintenance Team based at our Ringwood depot, working across the district. This outgoing team provides a varied grounds maintenance service for the council throughout the year which includes grass cutting, shrub bed maintenance, hedge cutting, formal planting maintenance, soft landscaping, cemetery maintenance, burials and other associated horticultural and arboriculture operations.
Do you enjoy working in a wide range of locations?
You will be working in a wide range of locations from woodland, SSSI’s, clifftops to formal gardens. Must be highly motivated to meet targets/schedules and complete work to a high standard.
Do you have Grounds Maintenance experience?
You must have substantial experience in a Grounds Maintenance role as well as a valid driver’s license with trailer entitlement. It is desirable that you hold PA1, PA6 herbicide certification and NVQ Level 1 or equivalent certification/tickets/licences.
