Grocery Lead, Central London, Food & Drink FMCG, c£85K

We're partnering with a forward-thinking leading food company, based in London, who are looking for an established head of grocery, or a strategic, commercially minded SNAM looking for a step up, to head up their major grocery accounts.

You'll be leading a team of 4, owning the commercial agenda, leading and delivering JBPs focusing on the growth of the business. You'll bring strong sales acumen and a data-led mindset to accurately forecast, improve visibility and deliver impactful shopper marketing to drive profitability.

The role
  • Champion the development of the grocery channel by leveraging EPOS data, market dynamics, and shopper insights to unlock new commercial opportunities across multiple categories.
  • Take full ownership of the commercial agenda, including P&Ls, forecasting, pricing, and trade investment—to deliver strong financial outcomes and maximise ROI.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, category, and finance teams to ensure seamless plan execution and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Lead accurate forecasting and account management while proactively responding to competitor activity. Enhance in-store visibility through data-driven strategies, securing secondary space and impactful shopper marketing initiatives.
  • Act as a customer advocate and internal change agent by sharing insights, driving commercial growth, and challenging existing norms to elevate performance across the business.
