An established and growing battery storage independent power provider is looking for a Grid Engineer to support the delivery of their portfolio across the UK.
This is a technically focused role with real exposure to grid interfaces, electrical compliance, and construction delivery, working closely with development, engineering and construction teams.

The business develops, owns and operates utility scale renewable energy assets, with the aim of supporting the UK’s transition to net zero. The role
Reporting into the Head of Construction & Engineering, you’ll take ownership of HV and grid related activities across projects, from early-stage grid applications through to construction and ongoing operational support.
You’ll act as a key technical interface with DNOs, contractors and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly and efficiently.

An electrical background, with experience in DNO connections. A strong understanding of the UK grid connection space, as well as commercial skills in negotiating with various stakeholders.
