Overview

As Graphic Design Manager, you’ll be the guardian of Unily’s visual identity, responsible for delivering world-class creative that elevates our brand and drives business outcomes.

This role is ideal for a seasoned visual storyteller who can work autonomously, direct creative partners, and bring consistency and excellence to every touchpoint. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to develop and execute compelling campaign creative, sales collateral, digital experiences, and more.

While this is currently an individual contributor role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the future of our in-house creative capability - with potential to build and lead a team over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Execution: Deliver high-impact design across key brand and marketing campaigns, from concept to final production.
• Agency Oversight: Manage external design partners, freelancers, and creative agencies—owning briefs, timelines, and output quality.
• Visual Identity: Maintain and evolve Unily’s brand guidelines, ensuring cohesive design across digital, print, and product-facing channels.
• Project Management: Own creative workflows and prioritize incoming design requests across multiple business stakeholders.
• Workflow & Operations: Own design project intake, timelines, capacity planning, and delivery across functions.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with marketers, product teams, and business leaders to translate strategic goals into engaging visual content.
• Brand Building: Contribute to the refinement and evolution of Unily’s visual brand system as the company scales globally.
• Strategic Thinking: Translate complex business objectives into clear, compelling creative strategies.
• Innovation: Identify opportunities to push the boundaries of digital and motion design in our category.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in graphic design, ideally with a strong portfolio of B2B or SaaS marketing work
• Proven experience managing creative agencies or freelancers
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and modern design tools
• Solid understanding of branding, marketing funnels, and digital best practices
• Strong project ownership skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership stakeholders
• Resource Management: Effectively plans and allocates design resources, balancing in-house capacity and freelance needs to meet shifting business priorities.
• Agency Management: Confidently leads and evaluates external agencies and contractors, ensuring creative output meets Unily's brand standards and timelines.
• Data Driven Insights: Uses performance metrics and campaign data to refine visual storytelling and inform creative direction.
• Marketing Foundations: Understands core marketing concepts (e.g., funnel stages, ABM, brand awareness) and applies them to visual strategies.
• Accountability: Takes full ownership of creative outcomes, from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
• Collaboration: Builds strong working relationships with stakeholders across functions, fostering an inclusive, ego-free creative culture.
• Communication: Clearly articulates design rationale and strategy, translating abstract business needs into powerful visuals that resonate with diverse audiences.
