Isle Veterinary Group is an RCVS accredited small animal general practice located on the outskirts of the historic city of Ely. Ely is a vibrant city with excellent connections, close to Cambridge and Newmarket, and within easy reach of the beautiful Suffolk and North Norfolk coast. The city's train station offers a direct line to London, making trips to the capital easy. Ely is full of charm and things to explore - from the scenic marina and riverside area to its cafés, galleries, and shops, there's always something to enjoy in your free time.

We're proud to have an experienced and welcoming team of 8 vets and 10 nurses, supported by a fantastic administrative team. Within the practice, we benefit from certificate holders in both Cardiology and Surgery, bringing strong clinical expertise and a collaborative approach to patient care.

We are proud to be an ISFM‑accredited Cat Friendly Clinic, with excellent facilities and equipment to support high‑quality care. These include separate dog and cat wards and waiting areas, digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, dental equipment, endoscopy, ultrasound, capnography, and a fully equipped in‑house laboratory along with much more.

The role is 41 hours per week over 4 days, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. There are no out‑of‑hours, bank holiday, or Sunday shifts, providing an excellent work‑life balance.

You will be supported by a dedicated mentor and a friendly, experienced team, with plenty of vets available to consult. Ample administrative time is provided, and support is tailored to your individual needs rather than being one‑size‑fits‑all.
