About The Role

Sessional Graduate Tutor – Project Management & Computing

Contract: Sessional / Hourly‑paid

QA Higher Education (QAHE), in partnership with Northumbria University London, is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Sessional Graduate Tutors to support teaching across Project Management & Computing programmes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for recent postgraduates or early‑career academics who want to gain hands‑on teaching experience, support student success and build a career in higher education.

What you’ll be doing
  • Support practical, workshop and lab‑based teaching across Project Management and Computing modules
  • Plan and prepare engaging learning activities and resources
  • Deliver academic and pastoral support through tutorials and 1‑to‑1 guidance
  • Act as a key point of contact for students, signposting to wider support services
  • Monitor student progress and provide advice on study skills, digital literacy and academic practice
  • Work closely with academic colleagues to support student progression
  • Contribute to programme development and a positive student learning experience
What you’ll bring
  • Essential Master’s degree (or close to completion) in Project Management, Computing or a related discipline. Willingness to pursue for doctoral education
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence supporting experiential learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse, international student cohorts
  • Desirable: Experience tutoring or teaching in higher education
  • Desirable: Experience with workshops, simulations or lab‑based delivery
  • Desirable: Interest in pursuing HEA Fellowship or a longer‑term academic career
