This position is in a Gateshead primary school with approximately 390 pupils. Inclusion and wellbeing are at the heart of the school’s ethos, and graduates are supported to develop their skills gradually and confidently.

You’ll support learning across Key Stage 1, gaining experience that’s highly valued by future employers and training providers.

Your role will include
  • Supporting children in Year 1 and Year 2

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support, including SEND

  • Helping pupils stay focused and engaged

  • Gaining insight into lesson delivery and classroom management

  • Building relationships with pupils and staff
