Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with secondary schools in the Kettering area to offer an exciting Graduate Teacher Programme for aspiring Science teachers. This programme is ideal for graduates with a background in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related Science subjects who want to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into formal teacher training.

The Graduate Teacher Programme provides a school-based route into teaching, allowing you to develop key classroom skills while being paid to work in a supportive secondary school environment.

As a Graduate Teacher of Science, you will:

• Support Science departments across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver small group interventions and supervised whole-class lessons
• Develop skills in lesson planning, behaviour management, and assessment
• Receive mentoring from experienced teachers and ongoing support from Tradewind Recruitment
• Build strong experience to support future applications for PGCE, School Direct, or other teacher training routes

Many graduates who complete the programme go on to secure places on teacher training courses and begin their journey towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
