Job summary

Overview

Vision for Education are working alongside a client school in Northumberland to seek candidates to work as Cover Supervisors - progressing to daily supply work or in longer fixed term supply contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead lessons of approximately 30 pupils in the absence of the class teacher.
• Cover classes across the full range of secondary school subjects, but you are not expected to be a subject specialist in each area.
• Ensure lessons are planned in advance, facilitate the class learning, manage classroom behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher.
