Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a skilled Graduate Structural Engineer to join a leading structural engineering consultancy, in a permanent position. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site from our client's office in Leeds, in which you will be responsible for a variety of residential, industrial, and commercial projects, as a valuable member of a highly motivated team of engineers and professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Support the design and analysis of structural components using a variety of materials, such as concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
  • Create concise technical drawings, reports, and calculations that all comply with UK standards and regulations.
  • Participate in site inspections and client meetings, contributing to the successful delivery of projects from initial design through to final completion.
  • Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other engineering professionals.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of planning and construction documents.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development with a clear pathway towards chartership.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of structural engineering principles, and with the use of Eurocodes and British Standards.
  • Prior experience with design and analysis software (Tekla, Tedds, and/or AutoCAD) is ideal.
  • Strong communicator in both verbal and written manners, with a proactive approach to work.
  • Full UK driving license is desirable
