Responsibilities
  • Provide 1-1 and small group support to students with a range of additional needs, including physical disabilities, speech and language challenges and cognitive difference
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons, adapting activities to meet individual learning goals
  • Support students on EHCP by implementing tailored strategies and ensuring their individual learning needs are met effectively
  • Foster an environment of empathy, positivity and encouragement, helping every learner feel safe and valued
Candidate Specification

KPi Education are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant with the following:

  • A 2:1 or higher degree in Psychology, Education, Child Development or related subject (Russell Group or Top-30 University preferred)
  • Comfortable and confident working with students who have complex learning needs and physical disabilities, providing compassionate and tailored support to help them thrive
  • Good understanding of SEN and SEMH needs
  • Previous experience in SEN setting is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and families
