This Graduate seeking PGCE experience role can place you as a Cover Supervisor or a Teaching Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Cover Supervisor: oversee the completion of set work in the absence of the subject teacher; manage classroom behaviour; safeguard students’ wellbeing; provide feedback at the end of the day to the cover manager and report any issues.
• Teaching Assistant: support students one-to-one or in small groups; work with students with SEND or those identified as needing catch up; discuss specific lesson requirements with the subject teacher.
