Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Graduate Researcher to immerse in the financial markets, primarily focusing on US Investment Banks and Hedge Funds. The candidate will conduct research, build candidate shortlists, and present findings while working closely with a supportive team. This role offers a competitive starting salary of £32k with an OTE of £50k in the first year, along with comprehensive training and clear progression paths including opportunities for international travel and relocation to New York after 3 years.

The Role – Graduate Researcher

• Immersing yourself into your client’s businesses and really learning what their values / ethos is
• Researching the financial markets and presenting your findings back
• Mapping the candidate market and creating a shortlist for your clients
• Interviewing candidates and really learning to understand what they want
• Working closely with the consultants in the business

The Ideal Candidate – Graduate Researcher

• Degree educated with a 2 : 1 or above in any discipline
• Evidence of hard work and success (e.g., academia, work, extracurricular etc.)
• Resilient and able to bounce back from failure
• Ambitious and self-driven
• Inquisitive and curious about the business world
• Fluency in any European language is desirable but not essential
