The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing waste collections, complying with Health and Safety policies, and ensuring environmental legislation is followed. Qualifications

  • Knowledge about Health and Safety and Environmental legislation.
  • Experience with 3.5t size van driving would be an advantage.
  • Capable of working autonomously with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Organising collections from clients' sites for disposal.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.
  • Compile lists of hazardous waste needing collection.

Skills

Good knowledge of hazardous waste
Ability to assess potential safety/environmental impact
Ability to build and maintain rapport with customers

Education

A Level in Chemistry / Science or similar qualification

Tools

Fork Lift Truck certification
