Job Title: Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £27,000

Location: Slough

A fantastic opportunity has opened for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join a specialist, leading geotechnical consultancy based in Slough.

You will be joining a reputable and well-established technical consultancy renowned for delivering high-quality geotechnical solutions across the UK. This role offers an excellent hybrid working structure, combining both site-based and office-based responsibilities.

On site, you will be involved in geotechnical fieldwork, including soil and rock logging, supervising ground investigations, and collecting geotechnical samples. You will also assist with in-situ testing, geotechnical risk assessments, and site supervision. In the office, you will support the production of desk studies, interpretive reports, and geotechnical design inputs alongside a highly skilled engineering team.

As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you will gain exposure to a diverse range of projects within the built environment, civil engineering, and major infrastructure sectors. You will work closely with senior geotechnical specialists who will provide structured training, mentoring, and full support toward chartership. This role offers a clear and achievable progression pathway into more senior technical and project management positions.
