Job summary

Arup is hiring Graduate Electrical Engineers to join multidisciplinary design teams across the UK. The role offers an IET accredited training pathway toward professional status and extensive development opportunities within a global consultancy focused on sustainable built environments.

You will work on power distribution, lighting, and protection systems for diverse building projects, with exposure to 3D modelling in Revit MEP and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electrical Building Services engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software and 3D design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire detection, earthing and lightning protection for buildings.
• Perform short circuit, overcurrent coordination and maximum demand studies.
• Create lighting photometric models and develop electrical calculations.
• Prepare technical reports and work in 3D using Revit MEP.
• Collaborate with Architects, Fire Engineers and other disciplines.
