Job summary

Arup in the United Kingdom is recruiting Graduate Electrical Engineers to join our multi-disciplinary design teams. The role includes an IET accredited training scheme to support professional status and extensive training opportunities across healthcare, science, industry and transport sectors.

You will design electrical systems, perform power studies, model lighting, and work in Revit MEP while collaborating with architects and engineers to shape buildings and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical, Architectural, Mechatronics/Robotics or building services engineering preferred.
• IET, CIBSE or Engineering Council accredited course is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Office tools and ability to learn 3D design software.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire detection, earthing and lightning protection for buildings.
• Perform short circuit, overcurrent coordination and maximum demand studies.
• Create lighting photometric modelling and technical reports.
• Work in 3D using Revit MEP and develop electrical calculations.
• Collaborate with Architects, Fire Engineers and other disciplines to develop designs.
