Arup’s Graduate Electrical Engineer role within Property, Science and Industry invites new engineers to join multidisciplinary design teams across the UK. The position supports an IET accredited training scheme to help you obtain professional status, with strong training and development opportunities and a broad network of support.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Architectural/Mechatronics Engineering with basic building services knowledge.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire detection, earthing and lightning protection systems for buildings and projects.
• Short circuit, overcurrent coordination and maximum demand studies.
• Lighting photometric modelling.
• Technical report writing.
• Work in 3D using Revit MEP.
• Development of reports and electrical calculations.
• Collaborate with Architects, Fire Engineers & other disciplines to develop designs.
