Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Infrastructure Electrical Engineer to help design electrical systems for essential infrastructure. You will work in multidisciplinary teams on water, energy, power and industrial projects, developing practical solutions and supporting professional accreditation.

From day one you will join a community of experts, with opportunities to learn, grow and progress toward professional registration while gaining hands-on project experience across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related (2.1+).
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related (2:1+ would be advantageous).
• Integrated Master's in electrical engineering or similar subjects.
• IET accreditation or equivalent requirements.
• Good understanding of CAD and BIM, with design project experience beneficial.
• Some coding language experience is advantageous.
• Enthusiasm for electrical engineering and willingness to learn.
• Driving licence would be beneficial for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to electrical design calculations and equipment selection.
• Produce specifications and designs, BIM and digital modelling.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and prepare technical reports.
• Support site activities and gain professional accreditation through experience.
