Job summary

Arup in the United Kingdom invites applications for a Graduate Electrical Engineer. You will join cross-disciplinary design teams across healthcare, science, industry and transport sectors. The role offers an IET-accredited training scheme to help you attain professional status, with extensive development opportunities and a supportive network.

You will design power distribution, lighting, fire detection, and earthing for buildings, using Revit MEP and producing calculations and reports.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/Bachelor's level in Electrical Engineering or related field (Electrical/Architectural Engineering).
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire detection and earthing in buildings.
• Perform short circuit, overcurrent coordination and maximum demand studies.
• Create lighting photometric models and technical reports.
• Work in 3D using Revit MEP and develop electrical calculations.
