The Opportunity:
Transform from graduate to customs consultant in just 12 months. This isn’t a typical graduate scheme - it’s an intensive development programme combining hands-on customs operations with strategic consultancy. You’ll gain first-hand experience of real customs challenges through our sister freight forwarding and customs clearance company, alongside high-level consultancy work. This dual exposure provides expertise that typically takes 3+ years elsewhere.
What You’ll Do:
• Process customs declarations and master CDS/SPIRE systems
• Learn classification (HS codes) and customs valuation
• Support client compliance audits and strategic reviews• Assist developing training materials for major clients
• Handle client consultations with senior support
• Travel to client sites across UK (after 6 months)
• Progress from operational work to consultancy projects
• Gain exposure to international trade regulations and compliance
