Job description

We're growing our commercial team and looking for a high‑potential Key Account Executive to learn the craft of account management and help us deepen relationships with some of our most valued customers.

This is a brilliant launchpad for a driven graduate or early‑career professional who wants hands‑on commercial experience, real responsibility from day one, and a clear path into account management, customer success, or sales.

If you're confident talking to people, sharp with numbers, and motivated by progress, ownership, and impact — you'll thrive here.

About OGM

OGM is a trusted leader in precision injection moulding and advanced manufacturing, with over 60 years of engineering excellence behind us. From our state‑of‑the‑art Oxfordshire site we partner with world‑leading brands across medical, defence, consumer, and industrial sectors — delivering high‑performance, sustainable manufacturing solutions worldwide.

We're growing fast, and we're proud of our people‑first culture: collaborative, ambitious, and always improving.

The Role

As a Key Account Executive (Account Manager / Customer Success Executive), you'll be the commercial engine behind our key customer accounts, supporting the Sales Director and wider team to keep relationships strong and help them grow.

You'll be right in the mix: speaking with customers daily, solving problems quickly, preparing quotes and proposals, tracking delivery and performance, and spotting opportunities to do more business together.

This role suits someone with graduate‑level potential and hunger to learn — whether you've got 0–3 years of experience. If you've worked in a customer‑facing environment (internships, placements, part‑time roles, or a first commercial job), that's a bonus — but attitude and capability matter most.

You'll be based in our Oxfordshire office, with occasional customer visits (about once per month).

Hours: Full‑time, permanent

Location: Yarnton, Oxfordshire (office‑based with monthly client visits)

Salary: £30,000 per annum

What You'll Be Doing

Building strong customer relationships through fast, clear, confident communication

Owning day‑to‑day customer enquiries and making sure nothing slips

Producing quotations, proposals, and commercial reports with the Sales Director's support

Using data (pricing, sales trends, performance) to help shape account plans

Joining customer meetings and learning how to manage key stakeholders

Coordinating with production, logistics, and finance to deliver outstanding service

Keeping CRM systems and Excel reporting accurate and up to date

Spotting growth opportunities: upsell, cross‑sell, service improvements

Becoming the “go‑to” person customers trust and the team relies on

What You'll Bring

Graduate‑level drive and ambition — you want a career, not just a job

Strong communication and people skills (you're comfortable picking up the phone)

Commercial curiosity and confidence with numbers / Excel

Proactive mindset: you take ownership and move quickly

Organised, detail‑sharp, and able to juggle competing priorities

Genuine interest in learning how manufacturing and technical business works

Confidence using (or learning) CRM / ERP systems

A positive, resilient attitude — you like solving problems and improving things

Please note: Due to our location and monthly customer visits, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Why You'll Love Working at OGM

This is a rare chance to join a stable, respected manufacturer with the pace and opportunity of a modern growth business. We invest in people who show potential — and give them space to step up.

Competitive salary: £30,000 per annum

22 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service)

Company pension scheme

Employee assistance and wellbeing support

Genuine training, development, and progression

Friendly, inclusive, high‑standards team

Long‑term stability with exciting growth ahead

If you're an ambitious grad or early‑career candidate looking to build a commercial career in a technical industry — where you'll learn fast, be trusted early, and grow into bigger responsibility — we'd love to hear from you.
