Are you a recent graduate with a passion for working with children and a desire to begin a rewarding career in education? Do you have the drive, patience, and enthusiasm to help young learners thrive in the classroom? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a Graduate Classroom Assistant role at a highly regarded primary school in Maidenhead. The school is recruiting to support classroom learning across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers who want hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the National Curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside experienced teachers to create a stimulating, supportive learning environment.
  • Assist with lesson delivery and support small group work.
  • Provide one-to-one guidance as needed to help pupils reach their full potential.
  • Support learning across the curriculum, including core subjects (English, Maths) and foundation subjects (Geography, Science, PE).
Qualifications and experience
  • Recent graduate; prior experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
  • Relevant experience may include tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching, volunteering in schools, or working with children in any educational or care setting.
  • Experience supporting children with SEND, behavioural needs, or learning difficulties is advantageous.
