The role of GP with a special interest inDermatology and Skin Cancer is to support our specialist service in Dermatologyand Skin Cancer and provide the opportunity for professional development indermatology under the supervision of secondary care consultants and specialistclinicians.
The post holders will see patients in theoutpatient setting under the supervision of a consultant and alongside otherspecialist colleagues in the team.
The post holders will be given thesupport to complete the clinical experience required for the Diploma inDermatology qualification. Including butnot limited to access to suitably trained Specialist Dermatologists.
There will also be the opportunity todevelop surgical skills in minor skin surgery, working alongside suitablytrained clinicians including but not limited to Specialists Plastic surgeonsand Dermatologists.
The successful applicants would be partof the Dermatology and Skin Cancer team and could join clinics across thecounty to fit with the service needs and the circumstances of the postholders.
Remuneration will be on a sessional basiseither directly with the successful applicants or through their GP practices orbusiness if IR35 compliant.
The rates will be appropriate forthe level of experience andqualifications of the post holder.
