A leading trade body in private capital is seeking an enthusiastic individual for an administrative position focused on governance. This full-time role involves organizing committee meetings, preparing paperwork, and providing general administrative support. The BVCA has a number of committees and advisory groups which support the BVCA’s activities. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be utilised extensively as you will be responsible for administering committee meetings which encompasses everything from scheduling meetings in diaries, managing committee listings, compiling paperwork and minute taking at these meetings. Alongside this responsibility you will also be able to support the team on additional projects linked to the committees’ activities.
You will initially report into the Governance Senior Executive and then also to more senior members of the team, (including the BVCA’s Assistant Company Secretary, Governance Manager and In-house Lawyer) depending on the projects concerned. You will provide administrative support to the BVCA’s Assistant Company Secretary, Governance Manager and In-house Lawyer, as well as the wider Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team, and assist the events team and office management team when required.
In addition You will be part of a team of assistants who will provide a supportive environment to help you develop an understanding of the BVCA's ways of working.
