Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Goods In Coordinator to oversee the Goods Inwards department near St Ives. This position involves managing incoming stock, supporting warehouse operations, and leading a small team to ensure goods are received, processed, and stored efficiently. Qualifications

  • Proven experience within a Goods In / warehouse environment.
  • Current FLT licence is essential, in-house licences considered.
  • Experience supervising or leading a team is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming deliveries.
  • Check goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Inspect items for damage and report discrepancies.
  • Book stock into the system using warehouse software.
  • Label, store, and organise inventory correctly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant goods-in area.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding issues.
  • Assist with stock counts and general warehouse duties.
  • Fleet and yard coordination where required.
  • Support and lead a small team within the Goods In function.
