This role is a 12-month FTC maternity cover.

Join us as Global Talent & Development Manager and lead key initiatives shaping our people strategy worldwide and play a pivotal role in driving growth and engagement across our global workforce.

Reporting to the Director of HR Operations & L&D, the postholder will take responsibility for the design and deployment of our global talent, performance and career review and engagement systems, processes and programmes.

The role will also have one direct report (Global Talent and Development Coordinator).

  • Our global performance and career review process – Manage end‑to‑end global performance and career review process, working with global comms teams to agree annual plans, providing detailed reporting insights and carrying out annual reviews of strategy and process.
  • Talent identification process – Manage end‑to‑end global performance and career review process with equity and elimination of bias at its core. Working with HR and operational colleagues to achieve clear identification of diverse talent pools.
  • Monthly Global Welcome Event – ensuring events are delivered to a high standard, managing budgets and carrying out annual reviews of event impact.
  • Employee engagement survey – delivery of quarterly survey, agreeing a global strategy, developing comms plans, provide detailed global engagement reporting insights and relationship management with the system provider.
  • End‑to‑end project management may be required for other initiatives dependent on the speed and scale of our ambition for the future people agenda.

The ideal candidate for this role:

  • Demonstrable experience of talent identification and development in a professional services environment, including programme management, programme evaluation and measurement of impact.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and tailor communication for different audiences.
  • Ability to balance needs of different stakeholders and influence where appropriate to achieve global consistency.
  • Ability to manage a number of projects and processes simultaneously and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Learning delivery including coaching, 360 and psychometric or personality testing is desirable but not essential.
