About Unilever Beauty & Wellbeing

Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W) includes some of Unilever’s most exciting categories including Skin Care and Hair Care with brands like Dove, Sunsilk, Vaseline, TRESemme and more. We are also home to our Prestige portfolio of luxury brands such as K18, Hourglass, Tatcha and Dermalogica and Health & Wellbeing, a carefully crafted collection of Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements brands including Liquid I.V., Nutrafol and OLLY. We are building a unified and mutually supportive team of people who are beauty and wellbeing‑obsessed, consumer focused and driven by a passion for winning. Our role is to add value to our brands, deliver tangible beauty benefits through our products, create desire, and pioneer trends. With more than 1 billion people using our products every day, we have an opportunity to use our scale for good. We’re embracing a new era of beauty and wellbeing. One that’s inclusive. Equitable. Regenerative. Positive. So that people and the planet can thrive together.

JOB PURPOSE

The Global B&W Strategy & Operations team partners closely with the Global B&W leadership team to drive outstanding multi-year performance. The team’s remit spans three pillars: Deliver (operations and innovation), Plan (business planning), and Shape (define multi-year strategy).

This Business Analyst role supports the Senior Global Strategy Manager and Director predominantly in the Shape pillar — turning data and insight into powerful strategic recommendations on portfolio, geography, channel and operating models. You will play a central role in running analyses, building opportunity‑sizing, and helping to craft executive‑ready presentations that influence decisions at the highest level.

You’ll gain exposure to global strategic projects shaping the future of Unilever’s Beauty & Wellbeing portfolio, as well as the opportunity to work directly with senior stakeholders, including the Strategy Director and CMO. The role offers hands‑on experience across data, strategy and communication in one of the world’s most dynamic categories.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with Consumer & Market Insights (CMI), Brand and Market teams to analyse and interpret consumer, market and competitor data
  • Lead quantitative analysis to support portfolio, channel and category strategy, including market sizing, trend forecasting, pricing and share modelling
  • Build and run models across market share, penetration, pricing, distribution and promotional effectiveness, leveraging both external sources (e.g. Euromonitor) and Unilever proprietary data
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights, ensuring analytical rigour, consistency and version control across workstreams
  • Present your findings in clear, visually appealing charts and PowerPoint slides, with concise executive narratives
Financial and opportunity sizing
  • Analyse large financial datasets, building models and assumptions to assess financial opportunities
  • Support robust opportunity sizing through multiple triangulation approaches
  • Collaborate with Finance to develop financial models and business cases, estimating revenue and cost implications
Support on broader goals of Strategy & Operations Team
  • Support the Strategy & Operations team across key moments in the annual planning and strategy calendar
  • Contribute to the preparation of major internal and external events, conferences, and leadership forums
  • Support development of materials for strategy workshops, planning sessions and project gatekeeping reviews
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive, can‑do approach across ad hoc priorities
ALL ABOUT YOU
  • You will likely have experience in consumer/market insights or analytics, financial management or marketing. This would either be within an FMCG or a market research agency/consultancy
  • You have a genuine curiosity about the beauty industry, consumers and market trends. Prior exposure to Beauty categories is a strong advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (data manipulation, modelling, scenario analysis) and strong capability in PowerPoint (storytelling and presentation design).
  • Analytical and detail‑oriented, with strong numeracy and logical problem‑solving skills
  • Flexible and agile – able to react quickly to shifting priorities, handle ambiguity, take on feedback and work in an iterative manner with senior leaders
  • A collaborative team player, able to build relationships across functions such as CMI, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Able to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Fluent in written and spoken business English

Recruitment Fraud

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money.

In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs.

These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.

How is Unilever tackling this?

Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.

What can I do?

If you become aware of potential recruitment fraud, spot fake Unilever recruitment adverts or fake LinkedIn profiles, report them via Una Live Chat.

Unilever does not accept responsibility or liability for any candidates who are financially impacted by recruitment fraud. Your vigilance is key!
