Global Payroll Administrator

SRM are working with a leading Pharma brand who are looking for a Global Payroll Administrator to join their remote-first team and ensure the smooth operation of payroll across 13 countries and 5 currencies. This role is ideal for someone with strong international payroll experience and a passion for precision and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage payroll preparation across 13 countries and in 5 different currencies, liaising closely with internal teams as well as external payroll agencies.
  • Review payrolls, resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal SOP’s and external regulations.
  • Preparation of payroll journals and reconciling accounts.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislations across various jurisdictions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Act as primary point of contact for employee payroll queries.
  • Support onboarding and collaborate across wider finance function when required.

Skills, knowledge, and experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ payroll experience, including at least 1 years’ experience in international payroll.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with payroll systems and accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct)
  • A professional payroll or accountancy qualification is desirable but not essential.
