AWS is seeking a world-class Global Account Manager for a leading FS customer headquartered in London. This role will help the customer adopt cloud and AI technologies to accelerate hyper-growth by modernizing and building new innovative businesses on AWS. The successful candidate will be a hands-on Change Leader who can drive new business and operational excellence and collaborate across multiple functions as the owner of the AWS relationship with the global customer, orchestrating Sales, Technical Account Management, Business Development, Solution Architecture, Customer Solutions Management, Partner Sales and Marketing. You should be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, motivated by helping organizations rapidly develop the capability to drive digital transformation and optimize their use of AWS.

Responsibilities
  • Own the AWS relationship with one of the world’s largest financial services companies, from CEO to working level, and deliver operational excellence to ensure sustained customer value realization from current AWS business.
  • Develop a long-term account plan to deliver incremental sales revenue targets.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the financial services and insurance (FSI) ecosystem and bring extensive technology-related sales or business development experience with mid to large-sized enterprises.
  • Provide strong leadership to a team of sellers focused on enterprise accounts and influence CXO-level leaders through both verbal and written communications.
  • Understand digital transformation and disruption, with a track record of delivering or guiding disruptive digital implementations and advising senior stakeholders.
  • Possess a BA/BS degree (MBA/MA/MS preferred); demonstrate a technology sales management background capable of leading a team of experienced sales representatives with CXO-level engagements.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and executive presence; prior cloud expertise at a technology company and experience managing high-performing acquisition teams.
  • Show a history of building a business, working with matrixed stakeholders to achieve goals, and using data and trends to articulate business needs; manage time efficiently and meet personal and team targets in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
  • Understand current and developing technologies related to cloud computing and identify opportunities for customers.
Qualifications
  • Technology sales management background with experience leading a sales team with enterprise engagements at the CXO level.
  • Strong track record of results in a matrixed organization and ability to own, define, develop, and execute account plans.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence; cloud experience is preferred.
