Girls PE Teacher – Crewe Area – Part‑Time – Easter Start – Fixed‑Term Contract

Are you a passionate Girls' PE Teacher who loves inspiring confidence, teamwork, and resilience through sport?

Academics is working with a secondary school in the Crewe area to appoint a Girls' PE Teacher on a part‑time basis, teaching across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5. This maternity cover position will begin after Easter 2026 and run until July 2026, with a possibility of extension until Christmas 2026 for the right candidate. This part‑time role involves 3 days a week at the school.

About the Role
  • Deliver engaging and high‑quality PE lessons for female KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote a respectful, energetic atmosphere that encourages participation.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the PE curriculum and extracurricular sport.
What you'll need
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification in Physical Education.
  • Experience teaching PE across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
  • A passion for motivating students and promoting active, healthy lifestyles.
  • Strong classroom management and enthusiasm for extra‑curricular sport.
