A youth support organization in Greater London seeks a Get Into Work Coordinator to create workplace opportunities for young people. Responsibilities include developing relevant programs, building relationships across teams, and capturing feedback to improve initiatives. The role offers a £30,150 annual salary, 25 days of holiday, and extensive training and development opportunities aimed at cultivating professional growth.
As the St Christopher’s Get Into Work Coordinator you will lead on creating a programme of opportunities for young people to experience the workplace and develop skills and confidence to help them succeed on their chosen career pathway.
You will work with the rest of the Participation and Life Skills team to identify opportunities for young people to take place in work related activities within and outside of the organisation, create resources to support their learning and development, and systems to ensure that their learning is accredited and celebrated.
You will also be responsible for building positive relationships with the wider St Christopher’s team so that everyone who works with our children and young people are aware of the opportunities that are available and feel confident to encourage and support young people to get involved.
We believe that we can learn most about how to support young people best by listening to them about their experience and you will lead on capturing young people’s feedback and learning from it to improve the programme.
When you join St Christopher’s, we will set you up in your career with a tailored development plan. Whether you want to move across to a different service, become a Manager or just explore further your current role , we will support you to map out your career trajectory and help you achieve your professional ambitions.
