ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a German Speaking - Accounting Integration Consultant (Customer Support & ERP Onboarding) (m/f/d) to join our team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead customers through the full onboarding journey for accounting system integrations – from kick‑off to go‑live – ensuring a smooth, timely, and accurate setup.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers integrating their accounting tools with Pliant, offering guidance, coordination, and expertise throughout the process.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Tech, and Customer Relations teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges.
  • Deliver onboarding sessions, walkthroughs, and project milestone calls with confidence – aligning internal stakeholders and customer finance teams along the way.
  • Understand customer‑specific workflows and translate them into clear integration steps, whether the setup is file‑based, API‑driven, or hybrid.
  • Proactively manage risks, blockers, and dependencies across your integration portfolio using tools like Jira, Asana, and Notion.
  • Continuously improve internal documentation, workflows, and onboarding frameworks to support future scalability.
  • Contribute to the strategic evolution of our onboarding and integrations function – shaping how we deliver a best‑in‑class experience for customers across Europe.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Experience working with accounting or finance systems (e.g. DATEV, Lexoffice, Xero, Sage, or MS Dynamics) – either in a technical support, onboarding, finance operations, or systems‑focused role.
  • A solid understanding of core accounting workflows and how accounting data flows through systems – no formal accounting qualification required.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence leading customer‑facing projects, especially with finance teams or operational stakeholders.
  • Experience managing onboarding or implementation processes involving technical touchpoints – file‑based and/or API‑driven integrations.
  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Notion, Asana, Miro, or Trello.
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
  • A collaborative spirit – you're comfortable working cross‑functionally and aren't afraid to take ownership.
