Overview

Our client is an award-winning company of Environmental and Engineering Specialists who undertake site investigations, land contamination risk assessments, geotechnical engineering surveys, flood risk assessments, amongst other surveys, and have years of expertise in adopting a pragmatic approach to complex engineering challenges.

They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their team in London. The successful candidate will play crucial role in assisting with geotechnical and geo-environmental projects across the UK, under the guidance of Project Principals.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting comprehensive desk studies to gather and analyse relevant data.
  • Supervising and overseeing ground investigations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Logging soil and rock samples according to current geotechnical standards and scheduling laboratory tests.
  • Compiling and interpreting data to produce detailed factual and interpretative reports.
  • Managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Liaising effectively with clients and suppliers to maintain strong professional relationships.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of relevant background in planning and supervising ground investigations, as well as preparing factual and interpretative reports.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain internal and external client relationships.
  • Valid full UK driving licence.
