Job title: Geologist

Location: Central London

Salary: £35,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geologist to join a well-established site investigation and ground engineering consultancy, working on a wide range of commercial and infrastructure projects across London and the surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for a Geologist looking to develop strong hands‑on experience within site investigations, working closely with engineers, project managers and environmental specialists. You will be involved in projects from initial site works through to completion, gaining exposure to both field‑based and office‑based responsibilities.

Key duties will include supervising ground investigations, logging soils and rock to current standards, groundwater and gas monitoring, contamination sampling and assisting with factual and interpretive report writing. You will also liaise with drilling contractors, ensure health and safety compliance on site and support the efficient delivery of projects.

This position offers excellent variety, combining site work with reporting and technical development. You will be supported by experienced professionals and offered structured training, with clear opportunities for progression and development towards professional accreditation.
