We are looking for an inspiring and ambitious Geography Subject Leader to join a thriving, inclusive school for a 1 year maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Geography teacher to lead the department, inspire students across KS3-KS5, and make a real impact on learning, teaching and outcomes.

The Role: Geography Subject Leader - Kingston upon Thames

As Subject Lead of Geography, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, motivating, and supporting a dedicated team of Geography teachers.
  • Driving excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment across the Geography department.
  • Monitoring student progress and attainment through high expectations, data-driven strategies, and targeted interventions.
  • Keeping the Geography curriculum engaging, ambitious, and responsive to national developments.
