General Site Assistant - Southampton Docks

Contract: Fixed-term (4-5 months)
Start Date: Mid-December 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm (plus extra weekend overtime available and longer days when we are busy)
Location: Southampton Docks

Join Our Team for the Busy Season! We’re looking for a hands‑on, proactive General Site Assistant to support operations at our Southampton Docks terminal. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our team during our peak season, helping us deliver high-quality nutrient blends to farmers across the region.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting on the bagging line - tying off and preparing product bags for loading
• Supporting extra hours during ship arrivals (which may include some extra time at weekends)
• Loading finished products onto lorries using a forklift (if licensed/experienced)
• Keeping the site clean and tidy

What We’re Looking For

• A practical, team-focused attitude
• Comfortable working on your feet
• Flexible to work overtime during busy periods
• Forklift license desirable (but not essential)

Full PPE and warm weather gear provided. Please note the site is dock-side and open-air, with a staff room available. There may be opportunities for ongoing casual work after the busy season ends.
