We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Hewell, a category B remand prison based in Redditch, Worcestershire. HMP Hewell has a fast paced healthcare environment delivering care to males aged 21+, with a range of needs including substance misuse and long term conditions. Within this role you will be working closely with our senior nurses to deliver reception care which includes first night prescribing, discharge prescribing, urgent follow up for duty doctor and Substance Misuse prescribing. We are looking for a General Practitioner who is a team player and enjoys working with a busy environment where no two days are the same.
This part time role works 16 hours per week, with an annual salary up to £124,320 per annum FTE depending on experience.
Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
