A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a part-time General Practitioner to deliver healthcare in a female closed prison. The role involves clinical assessment and support for long-term conditions. Candidates must possess an MBChB or MBBS degree and be on the GMC Register. Pay up to £131,000 per annum FTE depending on experience. Hours: 2 days per week (e.g., Monday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Friday). Location: HMP Foston Hall, a female closed prison based in Derby. HMP Foston Hall houses around 300 patients aged 18–75 years. The role involves delivering general practice clinics to support long-term conditions and acute needs. Applicants must have an interest in female health and competencies in female-specific health needs, including insertion and removal of LARCs.
This position is part-time and salary is up to £131,000 FTE depending on experience.
