A healthcare provider is seeking a locum doctor for Stratheden hospital in Cupar. This role involves providing physical healthcare to mental health patients across various inpatient wards, conducting clinical sessions, and liaising with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must hold full GMC registration and be eligible for the GMC Specialist Register.
This is an NHS Locum post based at Stratheden hospital, Cupar. The role provides physical healthcare to patients across Mental Health older adult and specialist (Rehabilitation and Forensic) inpatient wards and requires liaison with the wider multidisciplinary team.
The established MDT includes Psychiatry, Nursing, Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetic, Pharmacy and Art Psychotherapy.
Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Portfolio Pathway (formerly CESR) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once it has been awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training and that they have the knowledge, skills and experience required for practising as an eligible specialist in the UK.
