We’re looking for a General Manager for a lovely community pub in Sutton Coldfield. Salary up to £40,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Plough & Harrow in Sutton Coldfield and lead the team to success!

About the pub

The Plough & Harrow is a popular, community hub located in Sutton Coldfield.

The Plough & Harrow is popular with a mix of demographics, the pub offers Sky Sports and pool facilities as well as a function area, large beer garden and kids play area. There is also a customer car park which is shared with the neighbouring Co-Op which further drives footfall to the pub.

The Plough & Harrow is currently wet led (70/30) achieving weekly sales of around £22,000. It offers a Marston’s Community menu which features pub classics as well as pizza, so there is plenty of scope to increase food sales.

The pub has been well-managed, and is available due to an internal move. There is an established and experienced team in place ready for a community, food-driven Manager to take the reins and maintain its reputation at the heart of the community.
