Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for a General Foreman to work for one of the largest construction firms in the UK.

You will be joining an exciting civils and utilities project based in Leiston. This varied scheme includes a broad scope of works such as groundworks, structural concrete and steel installations, drainage, pavements, building construction, ductile iron pipework and equipment racking.

Salary – £55,000 – £60,000

Duties

  • Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple work fronts, ensuring delivery to programme, budget and quality standards.
  • Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors, maintaining safe and efficient site logistics.
  • Lead on health, safety and environmental compliance, including RAMS, CDM, Temporary Works, LOLER and PUWER, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and near miss reporting.
  • Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and support programme updates while identifying and managing construction risks or design changes.
  • Deliver team briefings, toolbox talks and stand-downs, and provide regular coaching, mentoring and performance appraisals to site teams.
  • Act as the key interface with clients, stakeholders, and authorities, representing the business professionally and supporting long-term relationship building.
  • Ensure full compliance with company procedures and contribute to the development of internal teams and best practices.

Requirements
