A national heating contractor is seeking self-employed heating engineers for ongoing contracts with local Housing Associations in Liverpool. Qualifications

• 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer.
• Must hold ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires).
• Valid Gas Safe Registration is required.
• Must have £2m Public Liability Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct landlord gas safety checks.
• Perform general plumbing works including installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Isolate and cap radiator valves.

Overview

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They require self-employed heating engineers for an ongoing contract with a local Housing Association.

Details

• Location: Liverpool, Merseyside & Warrington
• Contract: Housing Association
• Work Type: Landlord Gas Safety Checks and Central Heating Repairs as well as General Plumbing works including:
• Install, maintain, and repair pipes, fixtures, and controls associated with central heating
• Isolating and capping radiator valves
• Replace/Install Radiators and pipework
• Replace 2 & 3 port control valves and wiring controls
• Upgrading of hot and cold systems pipework
• Commitment: Up to 5 days per week
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Payment terms: Weekly one week in arrears

Rates

• £229.50 per day

• No unspent criminal convictions
